It’s how we deal with these curve balls that make all the difference in our lives.
The other day life threw me a curve ball.
I could have thrown in the towel and got really negative. I’m not saying that I didn’t rant for a bit, because I did, and sometimes you need to blow off a bit of steam to get over the initial reaction to the problem.
However, after I got over the initial damn it – or words to that effect. I thought about the situation and made a decision that would keep me moving forward.
I had no idea whether this decision was the right choice or not.
The next morning I took action on that decision, and by early evening I received and answer that the choice that I had made was the right one for this moment in time.
I trusted myself to make the right decision, and took action.
Whether or not this choice will yield the results that I want is yet to be found out.
Even if the outcome isn’t exactly what I would like, I know that I’m able to adjust to get the desired results. Nothing is set in stone, and I’m still moving forward on my path to a better life, so nothing will be lost.
When life throws you curve balls, you just have to, “trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.”
Make a decision, take action, and move forward.
