The problem can be because we are taught to get from point A to point B. From where we are now to where we want to be.
This can create a stumbling block when we don’t know how we are going to get there.
One easy solution is to work backwards. Work from your dream back to where you are now.
However, the first thing you have to have is a clear destination.
To have a clear destination you need to write down your dream as though it has already happened.
Envision yourself in that moment when the dream has been achieved.
Be as descriptive as you can, so that if you read it back to someone they would get a clear picture of where you are, what you are doing, and what you’ve accomplished. Use all of your five senses when describing that moment.
When you have finished give your dream a deadline. Don’t set a deadline too soon or too far away – around three months is good.
After you’ve have a clear intention then you write down all the steps that you took to get you to that outcome. Write at least fifty steps. You’ll be surprised what you come up with.
Once you have the 50 steps pick out one or two and take ACTION.
You have to take action because, “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement.”
